Three injured in two separate bomb blasts

Three persons were today injured when two bombs exploded in separate incidents in West Bengal, police said here.

In the first incident, two construction labourers were seriously injured when a bomb exploded at Mohunpur in North 24 Parganas district today, police said.

The incident occurred when the labourers spotted a tin box hidden under a heap of sand. As they picked it up, the can, containing the bomb, exploded injuring both of them, police officials said.

The injured have been hospitalised.

Another blast occurred in Malda district, injuring a man this morning.

The crude bomb went off in Alampur fish market in Gajol area causing panic in the area.
 

A passer-by suffered minor injury, police officials said.
