Three Kanwariya pilgrims were electrocuted and six others injured when their tractor trolley collided with a transformer on Delhi-Haridwar highway here, police said today.
The deceased, identified as Satya, Mahender and Yogender, all residents of Bulandshahr district, were coming from Haridwar carrying a tableau in a tracker trolley which collided with the transformer in Purkazi area, they said.
Six others injured were rushed to a local hospital.
Security has been tightened on the highway after the incident, they said.
