Three killed, 15 hurt in bus-car collision

Three persons were today killed and 15 others injured in a head-on-collision between a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus and a car on the Mumbai-Agra national highway, police said.

The mishap took place around 2.45 AM today in Ojhar-shivar near Khanderao temple near here, they said.

The accident occurred when the bus was proceeding to Nandurbar and a car coming from opposite direction dashed into it killing three occupants of the car.

15 bus passengers were injured in the accident and were admitted to Nashik civil hospital.

Two of the deceased were identified as Sumaiyya Sheikh (35) and Amit Mohmed Sheikh (40), police said.
