Three persons including two women were killed and two others injured when their car was hit by a truck near Taraori in Karnal today, police said.
"The ill-fated car, which was headed towards Shahabad near Ambala, was hit by the heavy vehicle from one side after which it jumped the road divider.
"The truck driver also lost control over his vehicle and it turned turtle falling over the car," Taraori police station's Assistant Sub-Inspector, Karambir said.
He said the injured were hospitalised.
