Three people were today killed when a mini truck, loaded with steel bars, overturned on the Sikandrabad-Mohammadi road near Baraula farm area, police said.
The accident took place when the truck driver lost controlwhile attempting to save a speeding biker on the road, Mitauli police station incharge O P Rajak said.
Those killed in the incident were identified as Nasim (35), Abdul Hamid (45) and Ranjit Rao (40), he said.
The bodies was pulled out from under the truck and sent for a post-mortem, Rajak said, adding the truck was on its way to Lakhimpur from Ghaziabad.
