Three killed as car falls into river Khoh

Three persons died and one was seriously injured when a car they were travelling in plunged into the river Khoh near here, police said.

The incident occurred on Najibabad-Buakhal national highway yesterday evening.

Raj Kumar Agrawal (61), Asha Agrawal (50) and Rakesh Agrawal (52), all from Rampur, died in the accident when they were returning from Sisddhabali temple, here, Circle Officer of Police Aruna Bharti said.

Police said the bodies were recovered after the locals informed the police.

Kameshwar Prasad (60), who was seriously injured was rescued with the help of locals and referred to Doon Hospital, Dehradun, for treatment.
