Two children were among three persons who were today killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between a tempo and a car in the Kithore area of Meerut, police said.
One person and two children were killed on the spot when the tempo, coming from Garh towards Meerut, in which they were travelling in collided with the car coming from opposite direction on the Garh-Meerut road this morning. The deceased are yet to be identified, police said.
More than six persons are injured, three of them critically, and have been admitted to a nearby hospital," they added.
