Three members of a family were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck near Baraulia turn on GT Road here, police said today.
Harish (28), his niece Kanchan (22) and her one year-old son were killed on the spot when the truck hit them near Ganga Jamuni village, police said.
The truck driver fled the scene after the motorcycle was crushed under his vehicle.
A group of irate people staged a protest on the road, disrupting traffic for sometime, the spokesperson added.
