Three labourers were killed and as many others injured today as an under-construction house collapsed at a village in Begusarai district of Bihar, police said.
The mishap took place at Sagi village when the pillar of an under-construction house caved in on some labourers while they were laying a thatched roof, sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Mamata Kalyani said.
While three labourers, identified as Biso Paswan (40), Ramsagar Paswan (50) and Vinod Paswan (20), were buried alive under the rubble, three others, including the house owner Lalo Paswan sustained injuries, she said.
The bodies have been dug out and sent for post-mortem and the injured persons admitted to a hospital, Kalyani said.
