The mishap occurred at about 4.30 AM when the vehicle with four persons on board fell into a 200 metre deep gorge near Umranshu village, about 32 km from Pauri, police said.
Three persons died on the spot, they said, adding that the injured has been admitted at a hospital in Shrinagar.
Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi has expressed grief over the death of three persons in the accident.
