Three killed in road accident while returning from Kumbh mela

Three pilgirms, including a minor girl, were killed when their car collided with a truck while they were returning after taking a holy dip in the Kumbh mela here today, police said.

The car-truck collision took place at Rasegaon village on Nashik-Dindori road in the district, Dindori police station's head constable K V Jadhav said.

The three persons who died were identified as Govindram Parik (23), Shrawan Kumar Parik (32) and Vicky Parik (10), hailing from Silvasa, he said.

A case has been registered against the truck driver, police added.
