The mishap took place near village Hendaj on the national highway, they said.
The deceased and injured were the occupants of the bus which was heading towards Nagpur from Shegaon, a pilgrimage centre in Buldana district.
Three bus passengers Pramod Dharme (46), Kishor Ingle (34) and Ramdas Barde (30), all residents of Nagpur, died on the spot, police said.
