persons, including a woman and a 11-year-old boy were killed and three seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a roadside tree in Odisha's Ganjam district early today.
The victims were returning to Boudh after visiting several tourist sites in Ganjam district when the mishap took place at Dadaralundi, about 90-km from here, police said.
All the three dead hailed from Boudh, the police said adding the injured were all women.
Their condition was stated to be serious by authorities of MKCG Medical College and Hospital here to which they were admitted.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was detained, the police said.
