Three killed in two separate road accidents in Ahmedabad

In two separate accidents which took place in quick succession on S G Highway in the city today, three persons were killed on the spot.

In the first incident, two teenagers were killed when their car rammed into a container-truck from behind near Sola over-bridge, said traffic police inspector P R Patel.

They were identified as Chinmay Kanani (18), a class 12th student, and his fried Milan Sharma (18), a diploma engineering student.

"They were returning in Chinmay's car after meeting some friends in Naranpura area early this morning. The car rammed into the container-carrying truck from behind, killing both on the spot," inspector Patel said.
 

Barely ten minutes later, another car rammed into a truck from behind on the opposite side of the highway, killing Nimesh Patel (36), resident of Anurag society on Science City road, who was driving the car.
