Three members of a family were killed and two others got injured when their vehicle collided with a truck on Kota-Jaipur Ramganjbalaji bypass, police said here.
Last night, ten members of a family, hailing from Kasar village of Kota district, were returning home after taking part in a religious ceremony in Baldavpura village of Bundi when the accident occurred, police said.
Their vehicle collided head-on with a speeding truck on the Ramganjbalaji bypass under Sadar police station area, killing three persons on the spot, the cops added.

The deceased were identified as Dharmraj Gujar (30), Morepal Gujar (50) and Ratiram Gujar (50) while the driver of their vehicle Hamraj, and Santrabai received severe injuries, the police said.
The injured have been admitted to Maharao Bheem Singh (MBS) hospital, Kota. The dead bodies were handed over to the kin after postmortem at the government hospital in Bundi this morning, they said.
The truck driver has been arrested and a case of negligent driving was registered against him, the police further said.
