Three labourers die while repairing sewage line

Three labourers died of suffocation while repairing an underground drainage pipeline near Someshwar locality today, police said.

"Prima facie they died of suffocation while cleaning the pipeline at around 4:30 PM. Their dead bodies are sent to civil hospital for postmortem," said Gangapur police station in-charge S B Pathan.

The deceased are identified as Gopinath dhondiba More (45), Prashant Chindhu Choudhari (27) and Hiraman Madhe (30), he said, adding that they were working for a private contractor.
