Three labourers were killed today after a tractor trolley on which they were travelling overturned trapping them under debris of earth in a village in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place at Badhoyia village when an earth-laden tractor trolly overturned and fatally trapped three labourers were under debris of earth that the vehicle was carrying for works under the central flagship scheme, MNREGA, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramanand Kumar Kaushal said.
The victims were identified as Jai Prakash Mandal (40), Ravi Kumar Mandal (22) and Krishna Kumar Mandal (20), he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, Kaushal said.
