Three landmines recovered in Chhattisgarh

Police today recovered three landmines in the Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said.

Additional SP Santosh Singh told PTI that the CRPF jawans, who were patrolling in the area, got a tip-off that landmines had been planted along the Bhejji-Injaram road, following which a search.

The landmines were defused after the recovery.

The police were also conducting a combing operation to nab the ultras, who may have planted them.
