The armed men, who were riding a motorcycle, fired indiscriminately at a car near the City Police Station in the capital of Balochistan province, Deputy Inspector General of Police Hamid Shakil said.
One man was killed instantly while two more succumbed to their injuries in hospital. The attackers managed to escape.
Police cordoned off the area to trace the gunmen though no arrests were made. The motive for the killings could not immediately be ascertained.
