Three Naxals from the district today surrendered citing 'disappointment' with the Maoist ideology, police said.

Of them, two were Dalam members. The trio turned themselves in before East Godavari Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni, a senior police official said.

The ultras who surrendered were identified as Madivi Jogayya alias Roshan, Kaluma Pojja alias Radha, and Sunnam Nagesh, he added.

Nagesh allegedly supplied electronic items to the Dalam members since 2014, the official said, adding they surrendered citing disappointment with the Maoist ideology.
