A couple and their infant son were found dead today at their house in Mankavu village in the district, police said.
The body of Prasanth (30) was found hanging from the ceiling fan while that of his wife Anusha (21) and the baby were lying in the bedroom with strangulation marks this morning, Koilandi police said.
The neighbours, who noticed that the door was not opened for a long time, informed Prasanth's father-in-law who lived nearby. He informed police.
Police broke open the door and brought down Prasanth's body.
Police suspect family problems could have led Prasanth to commit suicide after murdering his wife and the baby.
