A couple and their daughter were found hanging dead in their house near Kangeyam in Tirupur district today, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Sadasivam (54) his wife Poovathal (51) and daughter Thilkavati (26), police said.
Based on information from the neighbours that the house was not opened for long this morning, police rushed to the house and broke open the door and found all the three hanging dead on the ceiling, they said.
The reason behind the extreme step was being ascertained, they said.
