Three members of a family were killed and another was injured when a speeding lorry rammed into a roadside house near here in the wee hours today, police said.
The mishap took place at Berishettigudem of Narsimhulupeta mandal district.
The Haryana-registered lorry, going to Khammam from Warangal, swerved off the road and crashed into the house whose occupants were sleeping, they said.
The deceased were identified as M Suneel (40), M Rahul (15), Ammulu (13). The injured, an elderly woman, was shifted to a hospital in Khammam, police said.
There was no word on the lorry's driver.
