Three of family killed in road mishap

Three members of a family, including an infant, were killed today when the car they were travelling in hit by a speeding tourist bus, police said. The mishap took place this morning when Gurtej Singh(38) was going to drop his wife Sarabjeet Kaur(32) at village Nathala, where she was a teacher in a primary school, they said, adding their one-year-old daughter Sahib Kaur was also with them. The victims were rushed to nearby hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. A case has been registered against the absconding bus driver while the further probes are on, police added.
