Three members of a notorious inter-state gang of burglars from Gujarat were today arrested here and gold weighing 100 gms and 1 kg silver ornaments recovered from them, police said.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat told reporters here that in the wake of a series of offences committed by the notorious "Chaddi" gang in January this year, special teams were formed and police visited five states including, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
The trio was nabbed when they were seated suspiciously in Adibatla area.
During interrogation, they confessed that they were members of the gang and had come to Hyderabad to again commit property offences, he added.
