Zarina Beghum, her son Farookh and daughter Rojee were arrested from Satti colony at Roorkee late last night on a tip-off, they said.
The family had come to Ferozabad in Uttar Pradesh on a 90-day visa over eleven years back to a relative's place. After the three-month validity of their visa they sought its extension which was not granted.
However, hoodwinking the police, the family continued to stay in different cities across the country, including Mumbai, during the past eleven years.
They have been handed over to Uttar Pradesh police which have taken them to Ferozabad, police said.
