During a vehicle checking drive last night, about 40 kms from the district headquarters, police stopped a car and recovered the heroin.
The three arrested have been identified as Arun Rai, Madhusudan Yadav and Pramod Kushwaha, police said, adding that Rai had been arrested in 2008 also on similar charges.
