Three persons were arrested in connection with the murder of a 50-year-old man, who was missing since January 25, police said today.
Inazar, Shannu and Shaista were arrested yesterday after they confessed to the killing of cattle trader Ikbal on Jan 26, police said.
During investigation it was revealed that the trader was abducted by the three and his body was cut into two pieces and was dumped in Kali river later.
A relationship between Iqbal and a woman is stated to be the reason behind the murder. The woman's family was opposed to their relationship.
The body was recovered by the police with the help of the accused who identified the spot where the body was dumped.
