Three members of a family were allegedly assaulted by two youths after the brakes of their car were applied suddenly at Lala Lajpat Rai Marg of South Delhi, police said.

The victims have also alleged that after thrashing them, the accused snatched Rs 15,000 from them.

The incident took place around 7 pm yesterday at Lala Lajpat Rai Marg.

Shikoh Haider (27) was driving his father and uncle in a car from their house in Lajpat Nagar's Railway Colony to Jorbagh.
