Three persons were killed in a group clash between two villages in Gua in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district today, police said.
It is suspected that an old dispute between the two villages was the reason behind the clash, said Additional Superintendent of Police (Kiriburu), R M Bhakla.
However, a probe is on to ascertain the exact reason behind the incident, he said.
Bhakla said the incident took place at a weekly market when the rival group members clashed following an altercation. A police team rushed to the spot, which was in a remote place bordering Manoharpur-Tonto blocks of the district.
