Three persons were killed and one injured in separate road accidents in Bihar's Banka district today, police said.
The first accident occured when two persons riding on a motorcycle were crossing an unmanned Railway crossing near Tara Mandir and was hit by the Rajendra Nagar-Banka Intercity train.
One person died on the spot while another was injured in the incident, town police station in-charge, Surjnath Singh said.
The deceased has been identified as Manoranjan Mishra, a residentof Rajaun village of the Banka district, Singh said.
In another incident, two persons were killed in a road accident when a speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle near Samukhiya More, police said.
The deceased were identified as Bihari Mandal(35) and Navneet Nandal(25), police said.
