The two speeding vehicles collided head on at Lalmati on National Highway 37 in the Khetri area of the district killing three persons on the spot.
The dead have been identified as Papon Seal, Bishnu Deb and Bishu Goala and their bodies have been sent to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
