Three persons of inter-state gang of motorcycle lifters held

Three persons of an inter-state gang of motorcycle lifters today arrested and recovered nine stolen motorcycles from a hutment near railway crossing under Purav Sarai police station in Bihar's Munger district today, the police said.

Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti said that acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the locality near railway crossing under Purav Sarai police station and arrested Mohammad Dilshad, Kumar Sanu and Mohammad Shaiphal from a hutment and seized nine stolen motorcycles from their possession.

He said criminals have stolen motorcycles from different parts of the state including two motorcyles from Delhi while rest of the bikes were stolen from Bhagalpur and Jamui district.
