Three persons surrender at JM court in connection with murder

Three persons wanted in connection with the killing of a notorious rowdy and an accused in the Dalit leader Pasupathi Pandian murder case near Madurai, surrendered before a Judicial Magistrate Court here today.

The trio surrended before Judicial Magistrate Hemanth Kumar, who remanded them to judicial custody for 15 days, police said.

The 37-year old Muthupandian was hacked to death, when he was going to a temple at Oomachikulam on April 15, they said.

The murder of Muthupandian, was said to be in retaliation to the killing of Pasupathipandian, Founder of Devendra Kula Vellalar Federation, in January 10, 2012 by an unidentified gang.
