Three persons wanted in robbery, snatching cases arrested

Three persons, allegedly involved in a number of robbery and snatching cases, have been arrested by Crime branch sleuths from two different places in the national capital.

Two looted mobile phones, a car and a motorcycle have also been recovered from their possession, police said today.

In the first incident, Sauabh Kataria, a resident of Najafgarh and Rohit Tanwar, a resident of Naraina were arrested on Tuesday from Palam area when they were coming in a car.

"Police received specific inputs that two wanted robbers would be coming towards Palam area in a car on April 1. Acting on the tip off, a trap was laid and duo were arrested. One looted mobile and a car have been recovered from their possession," a senior police officer said.
 

In another incident, Himanshu Tanwar - a resident of Naraina and wanted in several cases of snatching, was arrested from near Central School in Naraina on April 1.

Acting on specific inputs, police arrested Tanwar and recovered a mobile phone and bike from his possession.

"We are interrogating all three accused about hideouts of their accomplices, who would be arrested soon," the officer added.
