Three PLFI ultras arrested for killing BJP leader

The police today arrested three ultras of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) in connection with the killing of BJP leader Manoj Nageshia.

Superintendent of Police of Simdega, Rajeev Ranjan Singh said three PLFI activists identified as Sheetal Kundalana, Loren Samad Lurgi and Anup Topno were arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to investigate the killing of Nageshia.

Singh said the firearm and a magazine used in the killing of Nageshia was recovered from the possession of the three arrested PLFI ultras.

Two motorcycles, nine mobile phones, PLFI leaflets, four live cartridges including two of 9mm bore pistol were also seized from their possession, the SP said.
 

Singh said PLFI 'area commander' Vijay Daang alias Vijay Tiger, had hatched the conspiracy with his associates in Patiamba jungle to eliminate the BJP leader.

Nageshia, the treasurer of Jharkhand BJP ST/SC cell was shot dead allegedly by Anup and Loren, on October 7 at Lacharagarh in Simdega district.
