Three railway robbers nabbed at Kanpur station

Government Railway Police today arrested three alleged robbers operating from Kanpur Railway Station and recovered a gold chain from their possession, police said.

Rajesh Tiwari, Bablu, and Mithlesh were arrested at the railway station and police have seized a gold chain worth Rs 30,000, 80 gram intoxicating drugs, and Rs 1000 cash from Rajesh, GRP incharge Tripurari Pandey said.

The other two accused were carrying two knives with them, Pandey said.

The GRP incharge Bablu and Mithilesh have been arrested in connection with other cases earlier, the GRP incharge said.

The three are being questioned and investigation in the case is underway, he said.
