Police today arrested three college students for allegedly trying to sell tickets for the Friday's T-20 cricket match between India and Sri Lanka on the black market through the Internet.

"Jatin Yadav, S Chaturvedi and A Patidar were picked up and six tickets of Rs 500 each were recovered from them," additional superintendent of police Amarendar Singh said.

The trio had put up an advertisement for tickets on an online buying-and-selling platform, and offered the tickets for Rs 2,000 each, he said.

Further investigation is on, the ASP added.
