Three suspected CPI (Maoist) members, absconding for last several years, were today arrested from Sidhabanrha village in Bokaro district, police said here.

Following a tip-off that Gulab Mahato, Dualat Mahato and Dhaneshwar Mahato were in the village under Gomia police station, security forces apprehended the trio, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Gomia) S K Pathak told reporters here.

He said Gulab and Daulat were wanted in the incident of blasting a house at Karma village in 2004 while Dhaneshwar was charged with possessing Maoist literature at Jamua Beda in 2002.

"FIRs were lodged against the three Maoists, who had escaped the police dragnet then," the DSP said.
