Three teenage girls, who were allegedly trafficked to the national capital, have been rescued with the help of an NGO from a West Delhi house here, police said today.
Acting on a specific inputs about the girls, the police raided the house located at Madi Pur area in West Delhi with the help of activists of an NGO called
Bachapan Bachao Andolan and rescued the girls aged between 10 and 15 years.

The girls were brought to the capital in lure of work by a placement agency called Golden Placement services.
During interrogation, owner of the agency Daniel, said that the girls were trafficked from Jharkand and Odisha and were brought to work as domestic help by trafficker named Sushil had brought them to work in Delhi as domestic helps, police added.
The juvenile girls were kept under deplorable condition deprived of proper food and other essential facilities.
"I had to work in a household for the past three years but have not been paid a single penny. The owner of the agency informed me last year that he had sent some money to my parents but it is not sure. I hardly used to get proper food," BBA quoted one of the girls as saying," said one of the rescued girl.
