Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Nilkanth Singh Munda today said that a three-tier plan to develop villages would be laid out at the two-day gram sabha meeting at 32,000 revenue villages, starting from October 19.
Munda told a press conference here that as against the prevalent notion that 79 per cent of the polpulation lived in villages in Jharkhand, 95 per cent actually do as blocks were also situated in villages.
Many of them are situated on hilltops and near rivulets and they are very picturesque having the potential to draw tourists.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das would inagurate the two-day gram sabha meeting at Littipara in Pakur district on October 19.
