Three women killed in fire incidents

A mother-daughter duo were among three women killed in two separate incidents of fire in the city.

22-year-old Seema died after her clothes caught fire yesterday while working in the kitchen of her house in Naurangabad locality.

Her sister Gunjan tried to save her and sustained burn injuried in the incident. She was rushed to the hospital, where her condition was stated to be stable.

In another incident in Bakewar area, Kanchan (21) and her mother Rekha (39) died in a blaze at their house on May 12 night, police said.

The exact cause of fire could not be ascertained yet.
 

Police are probing the matter.
