Three workers electrocuted

Three workers of a private company were electrocuted and one was injured when they were putting up a new power transmission line which came into contact with another electric wire in Kalwari area, police said today.

Hussain (27), Tajjamul (25) and Mujammil (25) were killed while installing the power line after it came into contact with a transmission 35,000 Kv line in Kewtaha village last evening, they said.

Babu (28) got injured in the incident and has been admitted to the hospital, police said.

All the victims were, residents of Malda district in West Bengal, they said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
