In restricted activity, thymol prices looked up by Rs 5 per kg at the local chemical market today due to increased demand from consuming industries against tight supplies from producing areas.
However, other chemicals traded in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries and tight supplies from producing belts helped thymol to trade higher.
