Actor Tiger Shroff, who is a self- confessed fan of Michael Jackson, says he would like to play the King of Pop in a film.

"Biopics are interesting I would love to do one. I would like to do one on Michael Jackson," Tiger told PTI.

The actor is grateful to have got an opportunity to pay tribute to his idol through his film "Munna Michael".

Speaking about his fondest memories of Michael Jackson, the actor says, "I was very young then, so I did not understand what was going on at the concert (in Mumbai in 1996). I was four or five years old. I couldn't see the stage but my father picked me up and then I could see him performing in front of me.

"I was amazed with his presence. And I knew I wanted to be like that, I wanted that craze and wanted to stand like him and sing like him," the actor says.

It is not just Jackson's dancing skills that Tiger is mesmerised with, he says he is equally amazed with his charity work.

"With great power comes great responsibility. The amount of work he has done for environment and the charity work... it's great," he says.

It has been three years since Tiger entered filmdom and the "Baaghi" actor says he has been learning the ropes of not only acting but dancing and action as well.

"I am in a way creatively involved with the films I do. I do give in my inputs when it comes to choreography but that's about it. I don't cross the line too much. I don't want to disrespect the technicians," Tiger says.

In a short span of time, the actor has made a name for himself as an action and dance star.

But for Tiger, a film should not just be action and dance but should also have the right content and characters.

"If the story is not there, then people will get bored seeing the dance and action on screen. There has to be a reason for me to do action in the film, otherwise it is pointless.
