Two persons were arrested after they were found carrying a tiger skin in Jalpaiguri district today, forest department officials said.
The two persons, residents of Bhutan, were taking the skin to Nepal when they were caught near Odlabari rail gate.
The skin, worth at least Rs 4 lakh, was hidden in a sack of ginger, the officials said.
The skin was seized and the two were being interrogated.
