World No 1 golfer Tiger Woods is likely to make a brief visit to the capital and play at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club coming next week.

The winner of 14 Majors is scheduled to play a few holes of golf with a few select guests, including Hero MotoCorp MD and CEO Pawan Munjal, before signing a commercial deal with the Club on Tuesday.

"We have been informed about his visit. The club would be signing a commercial deal with him," a source said.

The 38-year-old celebrated golfer is currently playing in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic along with two-time majors winner Rory McIllroy.

Although the officials are tight-lipped about the private event but preparations are going on in full swing at the DGC to give the star American golfer a gala welcome for his first visit to India.
