Tight movements in pulses, ends flat in thin trade

There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled at previous levels.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices steady.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 10,800-12,000, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 10,900-11,000, Urad best Rs 11,000-11,500, Dhoya Rs 11,400-11,700, Moong Rs 6,200-6,800, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 6,750-7,150, Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,150-7,650 and best quality Rs 7,650-7,850.

Masoor small Rs 5,850-6,150, bold Rs 5,900-6,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,400-6,900, best quality Rs 6,500-7,000, Malka local Rs 7,000-7,300, best Rs 7,100-7,400, Moth Rs 5,500-5,900, Arhar Rs 8,800, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,700-13,400.
 

Gram Rs 6,000-6,500, Gram dal (local) Rs 6,300-6,600, best quality Rs 6,750-6,850, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,850, Rajdhani Rs 2,850, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,450-6,800, Kabuli Gram small Rs 7,100-8,600, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,200-5,400, Peas white Rs 3,400-3,425 and green Rs 3,600-3,700.
