Security has been tightened with deployment of
6000 policemen for the 'Narsingh Shobha Yatra' to be led by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Holi here, police said today.
Many drone cameras and CCTV cameras have been installed on the 5 km long route of the yatra.

"The security of 'Shobha Yatra' is divided in seven zones, including three super zones and 19 sectors. The entire route of the yatra will be under close watch with drone cameras. Stones found on terrace of houses will be removed and ATS commandos will be deployed there," the police said.
Barricading will be done at many sensitive places and to avoid any unpleasant incident during the yatra, some religious places will be covered. Care will be taken that no one's religious sentiments get hurt. Holi is a festival of joy and brotherhood and people of all section and religion participate in celebrations," ADG, Gorakhpur, Dawa Sherpa, said.
From more than seven decades lord Narshingh procession is a part of Holi celebrations in Gorakhpur. Every year the chief priest of Gorakhnath Math leads the procession and thousands of people participate in it.
The procession starts from Pandey-ka-hata and moves around the old part of the city and ends at Ghanta Ghar.
