Tilda Swinton has become the latest star of Chanel after Karl Lagerfeld cast the Oscar-winning actress in the iconic brand's advertising campaign for the Paris-Edinburgh collection.
Lagerfeld chose the 52-year-old 'Chronicles of Narnia' star because her Scottish roots matches the collection's inspiration, and she is also "a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance", reported Contactmusic.
The shoot took place earlier this month in the Chateau d'Ecouen, a castle from the Renaissance period located near Chantilly, France.
Last year, Swinton starred in a short futuristic fashion film, created by Paris-based photographer and artist Katerina Jebb.
